DIRECTV has just announced further details for their pay per view package of BlizzCon coverage, and that the special promotion offering it free with a new subscription is now open. New DIRECTV subscribers in the US who sign up for DIRECTV by September 30 through http://www.blizzard.directv.com or 800-728-9375 will receive the package for free, while existing DIRECTV customers will be able to order it for $39.95 beginning on September 28. Why does DIrecTV get the monopoly on this? I have satellite through DISH network and would love to order it as well. As many of us griped and barked last year you thin they would offer some kind of similar packages or what no. This surely needs to be re-addressed in the future if Blizzard is actually out to bring Blizzcon to more people and not just sell ad space to a sponsor.

So close... only about two BlizzCons off.
